SWISS with new Management Board appointees - Change at Lufthansa Group Investor Relations

Subline as Bullets

−   Oliver Buchhofer Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Swiss International Air Lines from May 1

−   Dennis Weber Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Swiss International Air Lines from May 1

−   Marc-Dominic Nettesheim Head of Investor Relations Lufthansa Group from May 1

The airline SWISS has appointed two new members to its Management Board to ensure continuity. Oliver Buchhofer joins  the team of Dieter Vranckx as COO, while Dennis Weber takes over as CFO. This also means a change at Lufthansa Group Investor Relations.

Oliver Buchhofer (47) will take over the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Swiss International Air Lines on May 1. He thus complements the existing three-member board (CEO, CFO and CCO). This will give more weight to the airline's core business. Oliver Buchhofer has been Head of Operations at SWISS since 2021 and flies for the airline as an Airbus A330 captain. Buchhofer studied economics in Zurich. He began his professional career as a pilot with Tyrolean Airways and Austrian Airlines before joining SWISS in 2007. Between 2016 and 2021, he was Head of Flight Operations at SWISS until he took over as Head of Operations in 2021.

Dennis Weber (44) will take over the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Swiss International Air Lines on May 1. He has been Head of Investor Relations at the Lufthansa Group since 2018. Dennis Weber studied business administration in Bamberg and Sydney (Australia). The financial expert began his career at adidas AG. Before joining the Lufthansa Group, he headed the Investor Relations department at Hugo Boss AG from 2010 to 2018.

Marc-Dominic Nettesheim (48) will succeed Dennis Weber as Head of Investor Relations at the Lufthansa Group on May 1. He is currently Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at the Lufthansa Group. Marc-Dominic Nettesheim studied business administration in Cologne, Barcelona and the USA. He began his professional career at Dresdner Bank. After holding positions at KPMG and Bankhaus Metzler, he joined the Lufthansa Group in 2012.
